I like your voice in this piece, it’s self-assured yet delightfully blithe. There is a lovely element of humour clashing with your serious and valid observations. I enjoyed reading this (always use the foot that corresponds with the lowest step of the stile)

If you mean abuse and exploitation, then it is very different because the submissive is fully aware of what is being done to them and more importantly what they WANT done to them. I have played both as a submissive and a Domme, so I have experienced it from both sides which was instructive in each role. But it is not just a sexual game, there are also emotions involved and so trying to understand it from an academic point of view is a little like putting “love” under a microscope – you will only ever perceive part of the experience.

It honestly does not seem very different from what the corporations are doing aside from the sexual aspect of it.
